To support prior authorization processes, the full-time Pharmacy Technician will manage incoming calls from members and providers, maintain documentation of approvals and denials, and apply established criteria while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide professional telephone assistance through the criteria-based prior authorization process Manage an average of 60-100 incoming calls per day while ensuring high standards of customer service Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support function Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role with high-volume call center experience Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets
