Key Responsibilities

  Accurately fill prescription orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.

  Pick, label, scan, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification.

  n
n
• n

  Assist with medication returns, recycling, and disposal following established procedures.

  n
n
• n

  Pre-package frequently ordered medications and maintain organized inventory.

  n
n
• n

  Pull medications from shelves and storage areas according to prescription requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Identify and report any medication discrepancies to the pharmacist immediately.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and all pharmacy regulations.

  n
n
• n

  Support pharmacy operations through additional duties as needed.

  n
n

Qualifications

n
• n

  High school diploma or equivalent.

  n
n
• n

  Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.

  n
n
• n

  Basic pharmacy knowledge and understanding of prescription workflows.

  n
n
• n

  Strong data entry and computer skills.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  n
n

Preferred Qualifications

• n

  Previous Pharmacy Technician experience.

  n
n
• n

  Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with prior authorizations (PA).

  n
n
• n

  Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

  n

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Katy, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
