Description
Primary Duties:
- Prepare and package prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
- Assist patients at the counter and by phone.
- Manage basic inventory and restocking tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Follow all WFM, TSBP, and 340B policies.
- Participate in training and cross-training activities.
- Demonstrate teamwork, accuracy, and reliability.
- Willing to fill in at different locations periodically as requested
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Visual and auditory accuracy; ability to work an 8-hour shift in an indoor pharmacy setting with frequent movement between specialized areas; continuous use of computer systems, documentation tools, and telephone communication; continuous repetitive grasping, handling, and conversational interaction; long periods of standing or sitting; occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs. (including inventory totes or specialty materials); occasional work in confined, noisy, or dusty storage areas; occasional use of personal car; ability to understand, memorize, and follow detailed regulatory and workflow instructions; ability to read and interpret detailed specifications, documentation standards, and compliance materials.

Position Summary: Supports daily pharmacy operations by accurately filling prescriptions, assisting patients, and maintaining organized and compliant workspaces. Contributes directly to patient care and serves as the foundation for growth and cross-training.

Education & Experience:
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration or Trainee Registration.
- 0–2 years of pharmacy experience.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient service.
Skills: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; clear verbal communication; high attention to detail and accuracy; ability to follow procedures and prioritize tasks; ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment; basic proficiency with pharmacy software and POS systems.
