Pharmacy Technician

- Prepare and dispense prescription medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Count pills, measure liquid medications, label containers, and provide instructions for proper medication use.
- Serve as a liaison between the public and pharmacists, facilitating consultations and providing medication-related recommendations.
- Assist in managing inventory and maintaining pharmacy records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Degree or certification in pharmacy technology preferred.
- Must meet the requirements for Alabama Pharmacy Technician registration.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
