Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation

• Pay rate: $21.60 per hour
• Work hours/shifts: Sun, Wed-Fri, 3:30pm-1:30am; Sun-Thu, 10:00pm-6:00am

Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities:

• Process prescription exceptions, resolve claim rejects, and conduct outreach to members and physicians.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the fulfillment system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalate prescription questions to pharmacists.
• Assist with inbound and outbound calls from patients or physicians.
• Operate automated machinery, sort medications, and transition inventory through workflow stages.
• Count, fill prescriptions, affix labels, and package medications for shipment.
• Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing and correcting information, then resubmitting for processing.

Pharmacy Technician 2 QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Information:

• Remote, hybrid, or on-site: On-site
• Work hours/shifts: Sun, Wed-Fri, 3:30pm-1:30am; Sun-Thu, 10:00pm-6:00am
• Compliance: Will support healthcare and pharmacy operations; access to PHI required
• Environment: Utilizing robotic technology within central pharmacy centers

Education/Licenses Needed:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of Texas
