Pharmacy Business Intelligence AnalystThe Pharmacy Business Intelligence Analyst is a technical analytics role requiring strong proficiency in data engineering, SQL development, and business intelligence tools. This position is responsible for designing, building, and validating a logical data layer, pipelines and analytic datasets, not solely interpreting existing data. The analyst independently develops data sources from systems such as Epic Clarity and other enterprise data platforms, performs rigorous data validation, and delivers high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions. This role owns the full lifecycle of analytics projects—from requirements gathering through technical development and visualization—and requires a candidate who is equally strong in technical execution and stakeholder engagement.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care.

We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.Responsible for working on multiple (2?3) projects simultaneously, supporting multiple business stakeholdersCollaborate with manager to identify high level business need, develop project charter, and consult with the business stakeholder to define scopeLead business requirements gatheringIdentify data source(s) and develop technical data design requirementsDevelop viz wireframes and leverage BI tools to craft visualizations and dashboardsWrite SQL queries to develop data sourcesCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for Quality Assurance and End User Acceptance TestingContribute to development of analytic assets that can be used institute wideConduct end-user training as necessaryShare knowledge within COBA and train analysts on common tasksAddress stakeholder feedback, concerns and aim to deliver a high?level of customer serviceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Communicates in a professional manner with others inside and outside the department (i.e., staff, patients, providers, other institutions)Works effectively as a member of a unit team and cross functional teamsHas working knowledge of and is able to use all technology and software required to perform primary job functionsPrioritizes and adapts to change; accepts additional responsibilities based on the changing needs of the work settingResolves problems and escalates as appropriateMINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:The position requires a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. Candidates must have 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare and 2 years in pharmacy.

Tableau and Clarity Data model experience are preferred.
