Overview
We are seeking a Site Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations for a growing community health organization in Washington State. This leader will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, compliance, and strategic direction of two outpatient pharmacy locations.
The Site Director will work closely with health center leadership and pharmacy operations leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services while driving operational excellence and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy location
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy, clinical, and business operations
- Oversee pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure operational success
- Manage pharmacy purchasing and inventory to balance patient needs and cost control
- Oversee 340B program operations, purchasing, and compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures
- Partner with finance teams to review and manage pharmacy financial performance
- Prepare and present operational and performance reports to leadership
- Collaborate with health center leadership to improve patient access and pharmacy service
- Support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts
- Maintain a strong patient-centered approach to care delivery
Requirements
- Current, active Washington Pharmacist License
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of retail or outpatient pharmacy leadership experience
