Education: Graduate of a School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD degree. Experience: 3-5 years health system experience. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Current licensure in the State of Alabama, controlled substances permit, parenteral license, preceptor license, BCLS provider.
Job Description
The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the department on a daily basis. The Operations Manager assists in overseeing all medication procurement, storage, preparation and dispensing in the health system or organization; ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care, participates in continuous quality improvement activities, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of the organization.
