Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician assists in the advancement of rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. All their duties and tasks, as outlined below, will be under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience And Skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Hospital experience preferred but not necessary
License/Certifications
• Current and valid Pharmacy Technician New York State license and registration
• National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB)
