Pharmacy Manager - Williamsport, PA

A retail pharmacy seeks a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead its team at the Mifflinburg, PA location. This direct hire opportunity offers a varied schedule of 10 to 12-hour shifts, typically between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., averaging 62 hours bi-weekly. Key responsibilities include partnering closely with store operations to foster associate engagement and communicate departmental strategies. The Pharmacy Manager is accountable for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance processes aligned with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. Driving business profitability is essential, including managing inventory, promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management, and meeting key performance metrics.
This role demands effective supervision and development of pharmacy staff through training, coaching, and performance management. Maintaining pharmacy security, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and collaborating with healthcare providers to support patient care are critical daily functions. Operational duties like cycle counts, inventory control, and managing customer pickups are also integral to the position.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy management is highly preferred

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• 11-hour shifts: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• 12-hour shifts: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• Full-time, averaging 62 hours every two weeks
