Job Specifics and Requirements
- Location: Urbana, IL (must be able to work near Urbana)
- Licensure: Open, active, and in good standing IL State Pharmacist License
- Education: Pharm. D.
- Experience: 1+ years of previous management experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Schedule: Full‑time
- Background/Drug Requirements: Must successfully complete background check, health and drug screen
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the 340B program operations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and program guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for 340B program management.
- Conduct regular audits of 340B claims and inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent diversion.
- Monitor contract pharmacy relationships and ensure adherence to 340B requirements.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to maximize program savings while maintaining compliance.
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff on 340B program requirements and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for potential HRSA audits.
- Analyze program data and prepare reports on program performance and cost savings.
- Coordinate with wholesalers, manufacturers, and third‑party administrators to optimize program benefits.
- Stay current on 340B regulations, guidance, and industry changes.
- Resolve discrepancies and address any compliance concerns promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for 340B program inquiries.
- Manage split‑billing processes and ensure proper patient eligibility determination.
