Role Overview:
The Manager of the Outpatient Pharmacy oversees daily pharmacy operations, serving as the Pharmacist-in-charge (PIC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage clinic drug distribution, home infusion services, and workflow within the pharmacy to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
- Conduct bi-annual inventory assessments.
- Support strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy is required or preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in retail pharmacy.
- Licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
Skills & Key Duties:
- Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and inventory management.
