- Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per 4‑week period (will work Saturday and Sunday the weekend you are on)
- Lunch: Pharmacy closed 1:00–1:30 PM
MUST HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited program
- Active pharmacist license in good standing (state of employment)
- Ability to interpret prescriptions, reports, and regulatory documents
- Proven leadership and people‑management skills
PLUSSES
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
DAY TO DAY
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations while serving as a role model for pharmacists and technicians
- Lead, coach, and evaluate pharmacy staff; provide performance feedback and development
- Manage workflow, staffing, and scheduling to optimize customer service and control labor costs
- Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee inventory management, including controlled substances and ordering practices
- Monitor third‑party/insurance performance and resolve rejections, audits, and profitability issues
- Drive pharmacy performance against sales, volume, inventory, and budget goals
- Promote clinical services, public health initiatives, and disease state management programs
- Build relationships with local providers and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company policies
