Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with all applicableregulations (USP , , FDA, and state boards of pharmacy)
- Oversee sterile compounding operations, including workflow, personnel, and qualityassurance programs
- Ensure compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and othernon-resident state requirements
- Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding
- Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
- Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation programs
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
- Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for inspections at all times
