Our client is looking for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead their community pharmacy in Fort Smith, AR. You’ll run day-to-day pharmacy operations, keep the pharmacy in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, and build strong relationships with patients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge and maintain compliance with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations
- Oversee dispensing accuracy, patient counseling, inventory, and controlled substance records
- Lead, schedule, and develop pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Manage third-party billing, DIR/reimbursement issues, and vendor and wholesaler relationships
- Build relationships with prescribers, patients, and the community
Qualifications
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
- Active and in good standing, Arkansas pharmacist license
- Prior management or lead pharmacist experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
