Responsibilities
- Serve as PIC and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Oversee prescription verification, dispensing, compounding, and medication management.
- Provide patient counseling, medication therapy management, and immunizations.
- Ensure proper medication storage, inventory control, and controlled substance compliance.
- Supervise and develop pharmacists, technicians, interns, and pharmacy operations staff.
- Monitor pharmacy operations, quality, customer service, and performance.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements
- PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
- Active South Carolina Pharmacist License.
- Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
- Experience with prescription filling, verification, pharmacy operations, and insurance.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and controlled substances.
- Certified Immunizer or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
