Trillium Professional is now seeking aPharmacy Manager – Hematology/Oncology for an onsite position in Boston, MA!
Our client is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead Hematology/Oncology pharmacy operations within a leading academic healthcare environment. This individual will oversee daily pharmacy operations, lead and develop pharmacy staff, collaborate with oncology and hospital leadership, manage high-cost specialty medications, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. This is a highly visible leadership role focused on operational excellence, patient safety, and advancing oncology pharmacy services.
Annual salary is $160,000–$180,000 + Negotiable Sign-On Bonus.
Key Skills
- PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required
- Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts by hire date
PGY-1 Residency plus
- PGY-2 Specialty/HSPAL Residency, or
- PGY-1 plus 2 years of relevant experience, or
- 4 years of relevant pharmacy leadership experience
Qualifications
- Leadership experience managing pharmacy operations and staff
- Hematology/Oncology pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Strong knowledge of medication management, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards
- Project management and process improvement experienceExperience overseeing high-cost specialty medications
- Familiarity with pharmacy and clinical systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, QS1, or similar
- Master’s degree, MBA, or additional leadership experience is a plus.
