This full-time, onsite role in Bakersfield, CA, offers a chance to guide a team of pharmacists dedicated to producing high-quality compounded medications while ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality goals
- Oversee daily compounding workflows and pharmacy operations
- Ensure adherence to USP , , and compounding standards
- Maintain accurate training records and facilitate ongoing pharmacist education
- Support drug selection for both dispensing and compounded preparations
- Identify process enhancements and collaborate with pharmacy leadership and other departments
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with all relevant policies and regulations
- Current California pharmacist license in good standing
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing pharmacy teams within a lab setting
- 2-5 years of hands-on compounding experience
- Strong knowledge of USP compounding standards, State Board regulations, and 503A requirements
- Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
This role offers a rewarding base salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000 plus performance-based bonuses, with eligibility for benefits.
