Must-Haves:

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or pharmacy leadership experience
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Plusses:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
• 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
• ALS/ACLS certification (required if attending Code Blue events)
• Previous experience leading large-scale pharmacy operations
• Experience with formulary management and quality improvement initiatives

Day-to-Day:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead, mentor, develop, and evaluate pharmacy staff
• Ensure safe and effective medication management practices
• Drive operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives
• Develop and manage departmental policies, programs, and formulary standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership teams
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, and departmental performance goals
• Monitor medication safety, clinical quality measures, and operational efficiency
• Promote interdisciplinary partnerships to improve patient outcomes
