This position will offer you the capacity to apply your knowledge and expertise toward supporting quality health services and patient care.Responsibilities:Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV/solutionsManufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate recordsSupervise support personnel and assumes responsibility for final check of all completed workAssist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all servicesProvide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care serviceRequirements:Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferredLicensed as a pharmacist in the State of WashingtonMinimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationAbout Valley HospitalMultiCare Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley, featuring a Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services, and advanced cardiac care. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $68.30 - $87.43 USD.
However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
