Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient staffing experience

License: WI License preferred

Certifications: BLS Required, preferred BCPS

Must-Have:

• - Inpatient staffing experience
• - Vancomycin AUC dosing
• - Aminoglycosides dosing
• - Heparin dosing/monitoring
• - TPN management/monitoring
• - Understanding of USP 797

Description:

The department is seeking an inpatient pharmacist to join the team.

The pharmacist will cover various areas including ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR, cardiac cath, EPS, central pharmacy.

IV Room experience is not required but understanding of USP 797 is necessary.

Minimal chemotherapy is performed, with occasional preparation of gemcitabine, mitomycin, or methotrexate.

The pharmacist will be responsible for medication dosing and monitoring.

The position requires collaboration with pharmacy technicians working various shifts.

Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

There is no on-call requirement for this role.

The medication dispensing system used is Omnicell.

The dress code is scrubs or clean, professional/business casual attire.

All pharmacists are required to clock in and out while performing duties.
