Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, checking for drug interactions, allergies, and dosing accuracy
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Communicate with prescribers to clarify orders and resolve discrepancies
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policy
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
• Administer immunizations as needed and where licensed
• Participate in inventory management and controlled substance tracking
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and quality patient care

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD)
• One year of experience as a Pharmacist
• Registered Pharmacist (active Texas state license)

Salary

Up to $150,000.00 per year
