Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in the Belmont University pharmacy as the pharmacist on duty
- Supervise any technicians and student workers present when on duty
- Precept pharmacy students in the Belmont University pharmacy when on duty
- Work as-needed shifts as required for pharmacy staffing needs
- Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Tennessee and be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in Tennessee
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Flexibility for scheduling in as-needed/short notice situations strongly preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations
- Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work
Required Education
Pharm.D. from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA
Required Experience
Current/recent community or college‑health pharmacy practice experience strongly preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
