Primary Functions:
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, isresponsible for the operations of the pharmacy including dispensing,scheduling, distribution, CQI, regulatory compliance andsupervision of pharmacy personnel.
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs distribution of pharmaceuticalproducts, ancillary supplies and equipment
- Ensures compliance with CQI program,licensure, and regulatory requirements as they relate to pharmacy
- Assures appropriate clinical monitoring ofpatients
- Assists with pharmacy inventories
- Assist in obtaining/completing billinginformation and documentation
- Prescriptions,pick lists, drug profiles, and other documents as required by law or company
- Ensurespharmacy compliance with HPC’s policies and procedures
- Conductsin-services as required/requested
- Participates inpatient safety, quality, and infection control programs as directed
