This position is a NICU/Clinical Pharmacist role. In addition to core clinical pharmacist responsibilities such as antimicrobial stewardship, renal dose adjustments, and anticoagulation monitoring, the role requires comprehensive clinical review of all NICU medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy. The position also requires conducting drug utilization review studies. Consults with medical practitioners on medication orders, patient reactions, and errors. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Bachelors degree, Pharm D preferred. Must be a registered pharmacist.
