A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Mohave Valley, AZ, with an immediate start. This contract position offers a 7-on, 7-off schedule, working 10 to 12-hour shifts to ensure comprehensive pharmacy services within a hospital setting. The role involves vital responsibilities to support patient care and medication management.
Schedule:

• Weekdays: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Weekends: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
• Perform pharmacokinetic calculations and patient monitoring
• Utilize MedHost electronic medical records for documentation and order processing

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona pharmacist license
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Hospital pharmacy experience required, including IV certification and practical experience with intravenous medications
• Proficient with hospital EMR systems, preferably MedHost
