Pharmacist | Middleburg, Florida

This role requires a licensed pharmacist with specialized expertise in sterile compounding to support infusion pharmacy patients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Combining clinical pharmacy services, regulatory compliance, and leadership, you will play an integral role in ensuring safe, high-quality medication preparation and distribution.

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Contract Type:

• 13+ weeks contract-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders with accuracy.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding adhering to USP and USP standards.
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Review medication profiles for allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Maintain cleanroom standards, aseptic techniques, and environmental monitoring.
• Participate in quality assurance, medication safety initiatives, and regulatory audits.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for compounding, batch records, quality, and compliance.
• Assist in inventory management, controlled substances handling, and overall pharmacy operations.
• Support policy development, procedure refinement, and staff training programs.
• Engage in staff meetings and professional conferences to stay current in best practices.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience in hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding, compliant with USP , USP , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities.
