📍 Location: Louisville, KY

💼 Position: Staff Pharmacist

💰 Pay: Competitive pay rates

🌴 PTO: 3 weeks vacation

🕐 Pharmacy Hours

The pharmacy is currently operating the following schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

📈 Anticipated Future Schedule

Hours are expected to expand to:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

💼 What You'll Do

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will help ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and effective medication therapy while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• 💊 Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• 🗣️ Counsel patients regarding medications, side effects, interactions, and proper use
• 🔎 Assess prescriptions for appropriate dosing, potential interactions, and medication safety
• 🤝 Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• 💉 Administer immunizations and provide other clinical pharmacy services as authorized
• 👥 Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns
• 📦 Assist with medication inventory, ordering, storage, and control
• 📋 Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• 🛡️ Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
• ✅ Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
• 📚 Maintain continuing education and licensure requirements

🎓 Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, and medication safety
• Excellent communication and patient-service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
