Pharmacist - Kenner, LA

A healthcare facility in the New Orleans area is seeking a Critical Care / Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care in a Level 1 trauma center environment, supporting Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2 units.
Location: New Orleans, LA (Kenner area)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting July 14
Shift: Day shift, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., every other week (EOW)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to critically ill patients in CV ICU and Medical ICU2
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy outcomes
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) to document and monitor patient medications
• Support trauma care protocols with expert pharmaceutical knowledge

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Louisiana
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a critical care setting, within a Level 1 trauma hospital
• PGY-2 residency training highly preferred, but not mandatory
• Board Certification preferred, but not required
• Proficient with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
