A prominent, high-volume hospital with over 500 beds within the Texas Medical Center is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join their dynamic inpatient pharmacy team. This position offers a contract opportunity with a potential pathway to permanent employment. Location:

• Katy, TX (Texas Medical Center area)

Schedule:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical care to inpatients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
• Utilize the EPIC system for medication management and documentation.
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Texas.
• Texas IV certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
