Location: Las Vegas, NV – Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time | Initial 2nd Shift (Approx. 5:00 PM–1:00 AM for 3–6 Months)
Compensation: $165,000–$240,000 + 10% Annual Bonus
Relocation Assistance: Available for Qualified Candidates

About The Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing 503A compounding pharmacy seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the launch and long-term operations of a new pharmacy location in Las Vegas.
This is a unique leadership opportunity for a pharmacist with strong sterile compounding experience who is excited to build a second-shift operation, develop a high-performing team, and eventually serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge.

What You'll Do Pharmacy Operations
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Managing Pharmacist for the pharmacy location
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, verification, dispensing, fulfillment, and shipping
- Establish efficient workflows and operational processes to support continued growth
- Monitor productivity, turnaround times, staffing levels, and operational KPIs while driving continuous improvement
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, compounding technicians, and support staff
- Manage scheduling, coaching, performance, and employee development
- Foster a culture centered on quality, accountability, safety, and teamwork
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy, DEA, USP, HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards
- Maintain inspection readiness through accurate documentation, licensing, quality assurance, and audit preparation
- Oversee controlled substance management, inventory control, recalls, waste reduction, and inventory accuracy
- Investigate medication errors and quality events while implementing corrective actions and process improvements
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to enhance pharmacy operations and support future expansion initiatives
- Help build scalable operational processes for a growing compounding pharmacy organization
- Support the successful launch and long-term growth of the Las Vegas pharmacy operation
What You'll Bring
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program
- Active Nevada Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain licensure before serving as PIC)
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience
- At least 2 years of Pharmacy Manager, PIC, Pharmacy Operations Manager, or similar leadership experience
- Hands-on sterile compounding experience in a 503A compounding pharmacy (required)
- Experience with non-sterile compounding
- Strong knowledge of USP standards, DEA regulations, pharmacy compliance, quality assurance, and medication safety
- Experience managing pharmacy operations, staffing, workflows, scheduling, and inventory
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to support second shift during the initial 3–6 month build-out period
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional pharmacist licenses in other states
- Multi-state pharmacy operations experience
- Experience launching or expanding pharmacy operations
