Pharmacist in Charge in Mckinney, TX

A pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to join their team for a part-time 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible. The role is located in Irving, Texas, with a flexible schedule on the 1st shift, including day or mid shifts based on availability. This position requires holding an active Texas or Alabama pharmacist license, with a start date of August 12 preferred.

Schedule:

• Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
• 1st shift, flexible between day or mid-shift hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medication inquiries
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Texas or Alabama (required)
• Additional licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, or Oklahoma are also accepted
• Licenses in Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, or Nebraska are considered advantageous
• Experience working with high-volume prescription processing (1,000 - 1,500 scripts per day)
• Proficiency with DRx pharmacy software preferred
