An opportunity is available for a retail pharmacist seeking short-term work in Northern California to cover vacation leave. This assignment offers a chance to support pharmacy operations over two consecutive weeks in a community setting.
Schedule:
- Week of 6/22: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Week of 6/29: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
- Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient care.
- Manage inventory and maintain proper documentation.
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Retail pharmacy experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
