PRN PharmacistThe PRN Pharmacist provides as-needed coverage across all South Bend Clinic retail pharmacy locations, including two currently operating sites and the Notre Dame location upon opening. This role supports a patient-centered, clinic-based retail pharmacy model and collaborates closely with providers and clinic staff to enhance patient care and medication access.Key Responsibilities:Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulationsProvide patient counseling on medication use, adherence, and cost-effective optionsAdminister immunizations in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocolsReview prescriptions for appropriateness, safety, and clinical accuracyCommunicate with providers and clinic staff to resolve medication-related issuesSupport medication access and affordability initiatives, including insurance and prior authorization coordination as neededMaintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational policiesAdapt to workflow needs across multiple clinic-based retail pharmacy locationsQualifications:Active Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana (or eligible)Immunization certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start)Current CPR/BLS certification requiredRetail pharmacy experience preferredStrong clinical judgment and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently in a flexible, PRN capacity
