Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule: 3-5 days per week
Shifts: Monday through Saturday, with flexible hours typically between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth daily operations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and pharmacy regulations
- Utilize pharmacy software to process and manage prescriptions
- Valid Texas Pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and staff in a welcoming manner
