Pharmacist - Forest, Virginia

A Pharmacist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment at a small Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital in Forest, VA, with an ASAP start. This role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care in a facility averaging about 10 patients per day, offering a unique setting to apply and develop hospital pharmacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely to LTAC patients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Manage pharmaceutical inventories and maintain compliance with regulations
• Provide drug information and counseling to medical staff

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
