PharmacistBring your expertise in pharmacy care to a team that's redefining rural healthcare access. This is a PRN position, hours vary Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.As a key member of our healthcare team, the Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of medications for both outpatients and inpatients. Promote Wellness.This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving medication access in rural communities and values collaboration, precision, and patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and staff supervisionMaintain accurate prescription records and manage third-party reimbursementsCollaborate with prescribers, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure safe and effective medication useOversee mail order pharmacy processes and inventory managementMonitor pharmaceutical storage, distribution, and compliance with state and federal regulationsReview and approve inpatient and outpatient medication ordersSupport community engagement efforts to promote pharmacy servicesEducation, Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in pharmacy (RPh) requiredDoctorate in pharmacy (Pharm.D) preferredMust have graduated from an accredited college of pharmacyEXPERIENCE/TRAININGAt least two (2) years experience preferredExperience in both inpatient and retail pharmacy preferredKnowledge of mail order processes preferredLICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONLicensed Pharmacist issued by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy requiredMust maintain education credits for applicable certification requirementsYou'll be a great fit for this role if you:Take pride in ensuring accuracy and accountability in every prescriptionThrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentAre eager to contribute to improving healthcare access in rural communitiesBring strong communication, organization, and leadership skillsValue both clinical excellence and compassionate patient careAbout Compass Health NetworkCompass Health Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care throughout Missouri.
