Pharmacist

We're looking for a Pharmacist based in Dubuque, IA (or within an hour of it) to provide coverage across a network of community pharmacy locations. If you love variety in your week, genuine patient relationships, and the autonomy that comes with independent pharmacy, this one's worth a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Providing pharmacist coverage across multiple community pharmacy locations within a 2-hour radius of Dubuque
• Counselling patients on prescription and OTC medications, supporting their total wellbeing, not just filling scripts
• Completing MTM reviews and outcomes work, with a hybrid element allowing some of this from home
• Ensuring safe, clinically appropriate medication therapy - interaction, allergy and duplicate therapy checks
• Maintaining full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Building relationships with patients and pharmacy teams across the region - you'll become a familiar, trusted face at every site
• Collaborating with prescribers and healthcare professionals to deliver joined-up patient care

Skills Required

• Based in or within 1 hour of Dubuque, comfortable travelling up to a 2-hour radius
• Strong clinical judgement, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset
• The adaptability to slot into different teams and hit the ground running

Educational Requirements

Pharm.D.

Additional Requirements

• Active pharmacist licensure in Iowa (additional tri-state licensure a plus)
• Based in or within 1 hour of Dubuque, comfortable travelling up to a 2-hour radius
• Strong clinical judgement, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset
• The adaptability to slot into different teams and hit the ground running

Salary

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
