Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The clinical pharmacist will be a unit-based pharmacist that will verify the orders and provide clinical services for the area(s) for which they are assigned. They will be a drug information resource for the nurses, physicians, patients, and families. The clinical pharmacist will be expected to fulfill staff pharmacist responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required, Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree preferred.
• Experience: Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent hospital experience (3 postgraduate years)
• License: Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida
• Certification: Pharmacy license; BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required); Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other specialty corresponding with practice area.
• Vaccination & Compliance: Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
