Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Day and Evening Rotation
Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
Responsibilities
- Provides top‑of‑scope pharmacy support utilizing evidence‑based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care.
- Values and effectively partners with multidisciplinary team to achieve care outcomes.

- Models proficiency through precepting and mentoring those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.

- Ensures medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
- Provides drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
- Stays current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
- Communicates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care and ensure optimal outcomes.
