From intelligent research workflows and portfolio insights to AI-assisted document generation and automation, our platforms are redefining the future of front-office investing.You will have the opportunity to:Work directly with investment teams solving real business problems at scaleHelp shape innovative AI-powered capabilities used across global investment teamsContribute to strategic platforms that are central to the future of the firmBe part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial team that values innovation, ownership, and impactGrow your expertise at the intersection of investment management, data, and AIThis position is performed in a hybrid manner with a mix of work performed from our office in Newark, NJ and remotely.What you can expect:Partner closely with investment professionals, product owners, designers, and engineering teams to deliver modern front-office investment solutionsHelp shape and enhance AI-powered workflows across research, portfolio management, analytics, and client solutionsGather, analyze, and document business requirements, user journeys, workflows, and functional specificationsTranslate complex investment and operational processes into scalable technology solutionsDrive discovery sessions, process reviews, and solution workshops with stakeholders across the businessSupport the evolution of Peregrine and Merlin capabilities, including AI-assisted research workflows, intelligent search, summarization, analytics, and workflow automationWork with structured and unstructured investment data, including research, holdings, exposures, market data, and portfolio analyticsCollaborate with engineering teams in Agile delivery environments to prioritize work, refine requirements, and support sprint executionCreate process flows, data mappings, and gap analyses for current and future-state workflowsHelp define user acceptance testing strategies and support successful product rollouts and adoptionPartner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and improved investment insightsContribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvementWhat you will bring:10+ years of business analysis experience at a buy-side Fixed Income firm, supporting front-office teams such as Credit Research, Portfolio Management, Risk, and Quantitative StrategiesStrong experience across major Fixed Income instruments, including Treasuries, Investment Grade, High Yield, EMD, Mortgages, Sovereign/Government and Corporate Bonds, OTC derivatives, and ReposWorking knowledge of data governance with a proven ability to maintain high data quality throughout the project lifecycleProficient in SQL, including writing queries and understanding stored procedures; experience with BI reporting tools and relational databasesAbility to evaluate existing processes and recommend practical improvements that drive better business outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and solution development for system, process, or production issuesAbility to help end users adopt and maximize new systems and tools across teamsProven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with strong organizational skills and attention to both detail and the big pictureExperience using application lifecycle management tools such as Jira and ConfluenceWhat will set you apart?Experience supporting front-office investment platforms or research systemsExposure to AI, generative AI, workflow automation, or modern data platformsExperience working with investment research, portfolio analytics, or financial data ecosystemsKnowledge of cloud-native platforms, APIs, analytics tooling, or modern application architecturesCFA designation or progress toward certificationBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
