CareMount Medical, P.C. is the largest independent multispecialty medical group in New York State, serving over 640,000 patients across more than 45 locations. CareMount offers on-site laboratory and radiology services, endoscopy and infusion suites, and operates eight urgent-care centers. Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT scans: operate the equipment, position patients, and set proper scanning parameters.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals: safely and accurately administer radiopharmaceuticals used in PET/CT imaging.
  • Ensure patient safety: monitor patients during scans, administer contrast materials for CT imaging, and follow radiation safety procedures.
  • Image quality and analysis: capture high-quality images, ensure proper processing, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret results.
  • Equipment maintenance: calibrate equipment, perform quality control tests, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Follow protocols and regulations: adhere to established protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to radiation safety and patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: work with doctors, nurses, radiologists and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent education
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the ARRT (N), and state-specific licensure
  • CT certified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group provides a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions, subject to eligibility requirements.
