PET-CT Technologist

Akumin is hiring a PET/CT Technologist (PRN) at our Vermont facility.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety including pre‑screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Radiation safety and regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with radioactive materials/patients.
• Produces high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoots the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 1‑2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies.

Compensation

Estimated hourly pay range for this role in Vermont is $57.30 - $68.53. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
