PET/CT Technologist – New Hampshire

Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and compliance with radiation safety regulations.
  • Produce high‑quality diagnostic PET/CT images and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and radiologists, explaining procedures and alleviating concerns.
  • Train new technologists and support staff (PCs).
  • Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors, PACS, and coils.
  • Interpret physician orders/instructions and adapt imaging protocols accordingly.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N).
  • State license, as required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver’s license (as applicable).
  • Ability to work at multiple locations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies.

Eligibility for benefits will vary based on position type and hours worked.

The estimated hourly pay range for this role in New Hampshire is $57.30 – $68.53. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
