PET/CT Technologist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site PET/CT Technologist role based in Middletown, NJ. The PET/CT Technologist is responsible for performing PET imaging procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and strict adherence to radiation safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and positioning patients, administering radiopharmaceuticals as directed, operating PET/CT equipment, and monitoring patients throughout procedures. The role involves verifying patient identification, reviewing clinical history, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate interpretation of studies. The technologist also maintains equipment, documents procedures and doses, follows regulatory and institutional policies, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and empathetic patient experience.
