Seeking a PET/CT Technologist for a full-time role in an outpatient facility. The technologist will operate PET equipment to produce diagnostic images and measure radioactive isotopes for physician use in diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities Include
- Operating PET/CT imaging equipment safely and accurately
- Measuring and handling radioactive materials in compliance with safety standards
- Contributing to diagnostic processes to support patient care
Qualifications And Skills
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification with NMTCB, ARRT, or equivalent; PET certification preferred
- BLS certification
- At least 2 years of PET/Nuclear Medicine experience preferred; new grads considered if proficient within six months
- Virginia licensing is preferred but not required
