Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
- Assure proper doses of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.
- Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes‑difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
- Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.

Pay Range
$40.00 - $45.00 Hourly
