About the Role
Our outpatient imaging center is seeking a skilled and patient‑focused PET/CT Technologist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who values a steady daytime schedule, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to provide high‑quality diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care.
As a PET/CT Technologist, you will perform PET and CT imaging studies, ensuring accuracy, safety, and an exceptional patient experience. You’ll work closely with radiologists, nurses, and support staff in a fast‑paced but supportive outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans and acquire high‑quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safe handling, dosing, and documentation.
- Provide patient care by educating patients, addressing concerns, and maintaining a calm, professional environment.
- Maintain equipment and safety standards, performing QA/QC checks and following radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, communicating effectively with radiologists and staff to support efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- ARRT (N) and ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Current Texas MRT license.
- Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience in a clinical setting (outpatient experience preferred).
- Strong patient‑care skills and comfort working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑oriented environment.
