Personal Lines Account Manager – LicensedLocation: Cedar Rapids, IA Schedule: On-site/Hybrid | Full-Time | Monday–FridayPay: $60,000 - $75+,000, dependent on experienceA locally owned insurance agency in Cedar Rapids is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This role will be primarily focused on Personal Lines, with some Commercial Lines support as well. This is a great opportunity for someone with personal lines experience, a strong customer-focused attitude, and a growth mindset to be part of a well-established and respected independent insurance agency.The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining high account retention by providing excellent customer service across a primarily Personal Lines book of business, with select Commercial Lines accounts.

This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and a consultative approach to coverage. Some inbound sales activity and claims advocacy may also be part of this role.Essential Job DutiesBuild and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team membersReceive, document, and process all client service requests, including policy changes, auto ID cards, certificates, and coverage quotesProactively round out existing accounts by identifying and selling additional personal lines coverages or policiesInitiate outbound communication (calls, email, and written correspondence) to conduct annual insurance reviews and recommend coverage updatesQuote, review, and sell policies for inbound callers, walk-ins, referrals, and existing clients, following agency and carrier guidelinesProvide risk management insight and clear coverage explanations tailored to client needsSupport inbound sales opportunities and assist with claims advocacy as neededMaintain accurate documentation and meet agency service, quality, and delivery standardsEducation & Experience (Key Qualifications)High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferredActive Iowa Property & Casualty insurance license requiredMinimum of 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience strongly preferredExperience using Epic agency management software preferredExperience supporting or exposure to Commercial Lines accounts is a plusPrior experience working within an independent insurance agency environment preferredBenefits & PerksPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidays401(k) with company matchCompany-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insuranceHealth insurance coverageProfessional development opportunitiesSupportive team environment with long-term growth potentialKSI's Talent Acquisition Team partners with companies to assist with their hiring needs.
