Litigation Paralegal - HoustonOur firm is looking for a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with substantial personal injury experience to partner closely with trial attorneys on complex, high-volume matters. This position supports cases from initial filing through verdict and post-trial activity. The right candidate thrives under pressure, is exceptionally organized, and has hands-on courtroom experience.ResponsibilitiesPartner with attorneys to manage plaintiff personal injury cases through all phases of litigationPrepare, review, and coordinate filing of pleadings, motions, and discovery documentsOversee subpoena preparation and service, track compliance, and manage court deadlinesCompile and organize medical documentation, billing records, lien information, and damages materialsDevelop deposition summaries, witness files, and trial exhibitsCoordinate expert witnesses, mediations, and settlement documentationAssemble comprehensive trial binders and provide in-court litigation supportMaintain accurate case tracking within the firm's litigation management platformServe as a professional point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnelQualifications2-3+ years of experience supporting personal injury litigationProven experience preparing cases for trial and assisting attorneys in the courtroomWorking knowledge of Texas civil procedure and discovery practiceStrong writing, proofreading, and organizational abilitiesDemonstrated ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced settingComfortable utilizing Microsoft Office and litigation case management systemsPreferred BackgroundFormal paralegal training or degree in Paralegal StudiesExperience with catastrophic injury, trucking litigation, or other complex civil mattersBackground in a high-volume plaintiff-side personal injury practiceProfessional TraitsTakes initiative and anticipates case needsSolutions-oriented mindsetDetail-focused and deadline-drivenCollaborative yet capable of working independentlyTrial-ready and adaptable under pressure
